Down by the midnight jetty

Deep in a lover’s embrace

The time when

I held fire in my belly

And you were the moon in my hands.

A time when two lightning sticks

Rubbed together turned

A rainbow sky to rain.

Deep rolling thunder

Moonlight and miracles.

In the ageless part of us

Time fractures

Fragments float

Oscillating oracles

Mosaics and memories

Voices singing,

This way to the fire

In your belly

This way to the moon

In your hands.
